Center-Left Africa
The Center-Left Think Tank in Africa originated from a collective response to the deeply ingrained social injustices, policy deficiencies, and shared political experiences prevalent in Sub-Saharan Africa. Founding members, drawn from diverse backgrounds encompassing politics, academia, and civil society, were united by a profound concern for the pervasive inequality and discrimination witnessed in the region. Motivated by a shared commitment to social justice, these individuals recognized the shortcomings of existing policies in addressing the root causes of societal challenges, sparking a collective determination to foster positive change.
Driven by a desire to transcend political divides, the think tank emerged as a dedicated space for open and inclusive dialogue. Members, who had experienced Sub-Saharan Africa’s political landscape from various vantage points, understood the necessity of collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts to develop effective and sustainable solutions.
